Is your life a life of action and doing for Christ? I remember leaving port aboard ship ready to go out to sea on operations of some nature. I remember the order for those on the pier to cast off all lines and those on the deck of the ship would pull them in. This event was an active working event so the ship could leave and go out to sea and fulfill the orders that were given by the Naval Command.

When you got saved by believing in Jesus by faith you were at that moment living a new life for HIM for the lines of sin that were cast off you into that new life no longer kept you tied up to sin. You were freed by the Power of GOD. You came over to HIS side now.

You did not keep your mind fully on serving GOD, but other things besides the work of GOD led you to some sliding moments in doing things you ought not have done. The LORD JESUS gave HIS life on the Cross of Calvary for us. HIS blood that was bled out was shed for our sins so we could be saved. JESUS was steadfast, unmoveable and always abounded in doing the work of GOD. Perhaps you need to come home and get right with JESUS as a believer in the family of GOD. 1 John 1:9 talks about forgiveness! HE will forgive you and you can have that restored fellowship with HIM.
