The B-I-B-L-E, yes that's the Book for Me! As the Song sings "The Master of the Sea heard my
despairing Cry! From the waters lifted me now safe am I". YES, JESUS' love lifted me when no one else could do it! HE can for you too! Now to the message: The liquors, the beer, the wine all had their part in ruining my life once. The Red light district and the ungodly entertainments of sinful living captured my life. The physical toll of the alcohol, the torpedo juice started to affect my life mentally and physically. I needed an out from it all. Spiritually something was taking place in my life though. The LORD Himself was reaching out to me! A CALL from the LORD was after me. When I was a kid I went to church to age 9 and learned the Apostles Creed plus other Bible truth. My parents separated and got divorced and that ended my church life for many years. But in that Creed was the truth that saved me by my faith in JESUS CHRIST. JESUS the blessed Saviour of all died for my sins. The blood HE shed as HIS wounded body was bleeding out that precious HOLY blood for my sins and yours was the payment for sin. HE then rose from the dead showing HE had POWER over SIN and DEATH!
In the New Testament Book of First Corinthians chapter 15 verses 1-4 says: Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, If you keep in memory what I have preached unto you, unless you have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all which I also received, how that CHRIST died for our sins according the scriptures; and that HE was buried, and that HE rose again the third day according to the scriptures..
The gospel means GOOD NEWS! My life hit bottom and it hurt and I searched for a way out, and finally remembered the grace of Almighty GOD through JESUS that he could save me and lead me out of the life I was living into something better.
I realized I was lost from GOD and needed to come to HIM for salvation which I did. I bowed my head in a prayer talking to GOD with a repentant sorrowful heart calling upon HIM to save me from my sins. YES, HE forgave me and my life changed for the better. Though I became saved I struggled and went through difficult days trying to see my life make the right decisions, but good days came because of HIM! Many years have passed since then, but my decision to receive JESUS as my Saviour was right and true! Maybe today you are trapped and bogged down by the liquors of this world and need help, you can find it in JESUS. HE will be there with you your whole life guiding you to do right. When you do wrong HE will work to get you back on track! I am on track now and believe me JESUS is real and HE LIVES! So much more I can and will say in future messages! Call upon HIM today and be saved! Your sins can be forgiven!
